The Philip and Doris Clarke Family Lecture in Medical Ethics will be given by John Haldane, professor of philosophy at St. Andrews University and director of the Centre for Ethics, Philosophy, and Public Affairs, on the topic "Profession, Vocation, and Healthcare Ethics: Principles, Values, and Ideals."

The event will take place today Friday, March 21st at 4 pm at the McKenna Auditorium at the University of Notre Dame.There will be a reception following the lecture.
